The Woody Guthrie archives has announced a new album - “Note of Hope.” The 12-track collection of words & music, derived from a body of Guthrie’s unpublished writings written between 1942 & 1954 while he was living in NYC, features performances by a select group of artists. Stay tuned for an announcement about a new Woody Guthrie box set from Smithsonian Folkways to be released in early 2012!
