Debuting at this year’s festival, the Kids Zone tent was hosted by fellow Smithsonian Folkways artist Elizabeth Mitchell, who was both a nursery school teacher & member of a rock band before becoming a children’s music artist (though she still plays in the rock band, called Ida)!
